Court of Protection

On those sad occasions when someone has already lost their mental capacity without having made a Lasting or Enduring Power of Attorney, we can help to advise on what procedures need to be followed to appoint someone to look after the property and financial affairs of the person involved.

On such occasions, an application will need to be made to the Court of Protection for the appointment of a Deputy to act in that person’s best interests.  The Deputy may be a relative or one of our team members.
